Women's Health Care Month

March is Women's Health Care Month

She's your friend, sister, wife, mother, daughter, neighbor, or co-worker, and she has a story to tell. March is National Women's History Month and the 2015 theme is Weaving the Stories of Women's Lives. [See more at the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention CDC Women's Health website.] It features an A-Z Topics section, Women’s Health Initiatives, a section on Healthy Living, and also has lots of statistical information, as you would expect from the CDC.

Two other helpful sites for issues related to women's health are:
  • Womenshealth.gov, a product of the Office on Women’s Health, Dept. of Health and Human Services containing sections on A-Z Health Topics, ePublications, News, and more.
  • The Health Topics page devoted to women’s health on MedlinePlus where you will find lots of helpful links to vetted websites, links to Related Topics, Overviews, Latest News, and much more.
