Library Catalog Unavailable Friday evening

The Library Catalog will be unavailable during the evening Friday, 13 June 2008 from 4:30pm until around midnight. The Library Website also may be unavailable for brief periods during the evening. Please continue to check for availability as we will resume service as soon as possible.

The Servers at the Service Centers will be moved from the old power system to the new one THIS EVENING (6/13/08). There may be brief times when a server is not accessible. The work scheduled to begin at 7:00PM and should be complete by 10:00PM.

Celebrate Pride Month

June is Pride Month and Austin is celebrating.

At ACC Libraries:
  • Look for LGBT book displays at your campus library.
  • Check out books, ebooks (read them online!), and movies from the ACC Library. We also have Out at the Northridge campus and The Advocate at Rio Grande and Riverside.
  • Find more by searching the catalog.

  • gAy to Z - ACC's student organization is advised by Julie Kleinhans-Urrutia and meets at the Rio Grande campus. "The purpose of this club is to promote safety, awareness, education, and act as a resource for GLBTQS students. We are committed to all people courageously being who they are."
  • Out Youth "is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support and provide services to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth ages 12 to 19 in Austin and Central Texas. We offer peer support groups, counseling, educational programs, social activities and community outreach."
  • Austin resources from the Austin chapter of PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays)
  • Austin and national resources from The Gender and Sexuality Center at UT Austin
